Power companies begins single phase round the clock power supply

Hyderabad, May 31, 2006

Bringing a new trend in power transmission and power distribution, AP Transco and its power distribution partners began providing single-phase round-the-clock power supply for the domestic category. This will however be on an experimental basis for sometime.

The Government meanwhile extended the deadline for the installation of capacitors by the farmer sector. The deadline is now moved to June 30. Incidentally, this is the third time that the Government is extending the deadline. Speaking on the topic, Energy Minister Mohd. Ali Shabbir said that the decision was taken in order not to deprive any farmer from not getting free power.
