Strict Traffic and Security arrangements made
Hyderabad, May 3, 2006
The Prime Minister will be in the city for the ongoing meeting of the Asian Development Bank.
The Prime Minister will fly to the meeting venue by a helicopter from the airport. Traffic will be stopped or diverted on Thursday from 9:45pm to 10:25pm and again on Friday from 9:10am to 9:50am. The route on both days is Airport to Raj Bhavan via PNT junction, Shyamal Buildings, HPS, Begumpet flyover, Greenlands Yashoda Hospital.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) AK Khan said that all traffic personnel have been put on stand to. Their working hours have been increased and staff will be on the roads from 7am to midnight during the ADB meet days. He said 963 personnel have been deployed for this purpose.
