Hyderabad, May 3, 2006The trial of Monica Bedi, a close friend of Mafia don Abu Salem will begin on May 15 in the special Court for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) cases. Two witnesses will be examined on that day. She was brought to the court on Wednesday along with the other accused.
The Judge for CBI cases CV Subramanayam dismissed a petition filed by the prosecution seeking to frame additional charge of cheating under section 420 of IPC against her.
