Hyderabad, May 3, 2006The Government has stepped in to put an end to the cop-judge penalty row involving High Court Justice L.Narasimha Reddy by pacifying him. The Home Minister K.Jana Reddy asked the DGP (Special Protection Force) Aruna Bahuguna to call on the judge and sort out the issue relating to the protection cover provided to him.
Following the challan incident the judge sent back SPF security personnel posted at his residence. Meanwhile, the AP High Court Advocates' Association condemned the alleged misbehavior of traffic sub inspector with a member of higher judiciary.
The Association President G.Vidyasagar commented that if the police behave with a member of judiciary how can one expect they treat with common person.
