Police say he would have killed her in drunken state
Hyderabad, May 3, 2006Mr Narasaiah working for State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), Vanasthalipuram branch killed his wife Manemma and inflicted injuries on himself on his throat reportedly misleading the police on Tuesday night.
According to police, he called his relative Narasiah who is residing in the same locality around 11pm stating that his wife was murdered and the killers attacked him too. He rushed to his residence where the body could not be found. He rushed him to the hospital for treatment. On return, he found blood strains on the door of a locked portion and he opened it where he found that Manemma was found in a pool of blood.
The Uppal Sub Inspector Ravinder said on Wednesday that he allegedly used to beat up his wife in a drunken condition and seems that he killed his wife in that state following an argument and the exact motive and involvement of others, if any is yet to be ascertained.
