Rajahmundry - East Godavari, May 29, 2006

The three-day Mahanadu of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) that concluded on Monday have passed 24 resolutions after discussions. The TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu accused the ruling party of harassing the TDP workers with the use of force. He gave a call to the party workers to file private cases against police officers for implicating them in false cases.

During a discussion on law and order situation, he intervened and said to stage dharnas in front of the offices of the District Superintendents of Police to save the workers. The party general secretary, K.Srihari asked the government to announce a comprehensive water policy and declare Ichampally and Polavaram as national projects.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the party is committed for united Andhra State.
