Government to promote Vijayawada as Tier II IT city
Vijayawada, May 27, 2006The Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Government is keen to promote Tier II cities after the success of Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam as IT hubs in the State. Vijayawada, he said is chosen as the tier-II city in the State for promoting IT Parks.
Dr. Reddy laying foundation stone for IT Towers in Keesarapalli village. The park is located at a 30-acres site just opposite the Gannavaram Airport. He the park would provide 65,000 jobs in the next two years and give good career opportunities for students pursuing IT courses.
