Krishna and Guntur districts comes closer
Vijayawada, May 26, 2006
The Puligadda-Penumudi Bridge will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy on May 27. The bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs.71 crores on build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. Thanks to the bridge, the distance between Krishna and Guntur districts will be reduced.
Once the Losari-Pallepalem bridge near Lakshmipuram of Krishna district is completed, this road would be converted into National Highway No. 214A and would reduce the distance between Ichapuram in Srikakulam district to Tada in Nellore by over 200 km.
