Tobacco and FMCG major ITC Limited on Thursday posted a 26.4 per cent dip in profit after tax at Rs.567.89 crores for the quarter ended March 31 as compared to Rs.771.75 crores for the corresponding period in 2004-05. The total income soared 27.84 per cent to Rs.2859.08 crores for the fourth quarter in 2005-06 from Rs.2236.43 crores in the year ago period. The board has recommended a dividend of Rs.2.65 per share of Rs.1 each for the financial year ended March 31.
