CM reviews traffic safety in state

If you are driving carelessly and assume that paying fine will do everything, be careful. To put a check to the reckless driving, the State Government is planning to suspend the license of drivers who have committed traffic offense three times.
The Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy held a meeting with the officials on the growing rate of accidents in the State. The Chief Minister agreed the request of the officials to extend the powers of penalizing the visible offenders to the level of Sub Inspectors.
The offenders include dives of lorries, maxi cabs and auto rickshaws who carry more than the specified load. Necessary directions are given to the officials to put the same into action within three days. He directed the officials to open an exclusive Road Safety Cell in the Transport Commissioner's office.
