Hyderabad, May 23, 2006

Zicom consumer Service Group announced the launch of Zicomhome and Zicombusiness sophisticated security systems in India with a target of acquiring one lakh Indian customers into their fold. It has at present forty per cent share in the market share in the Rs.350 crore security devices segment and plans to increase its presence by opening 600 retail outlets each with an investment of Rs.15 lakh in the next three years.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Santonu Choudhury, consumer service group said that there is a great emphasis on the southern region with around 110 retail outlets planned in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. It provides insurance cover to home and business establishments up to Rs.3 lakhs in case of burglary.
