Manuals to be published in Telugu

Hyderabad, May 20, 2006

The Information Commission has expressed displeasure over implementation of Right of Information Act (RTI) on Saturday and directed the all Governmental departments to publish all 17 manuals in Telugu and make them available to the public at all Governmental offices.

At a review meeting about the implementation of the Act in Ranga Reddy, the Information Commissioner R.Dileep Reddy advised the officials should have made these manuals available by October 12, 2005 itself. Chief Information Commissioner D Arha directed the District Collector R.Premchandra Reddy to review the same every month.
