Eluru - East Godavari, May 20, 2006

The District administration of West Godavari on Saturday resumed the demolition of Operation Kolleru by breaching the private lands. In the light of Apex Court's dismissal of petition, the official machinery demolished 17 acre private lands.

Operation Kolleru Special Officer, N.Mukteswararao said that 8000 acres of private lands and 2500 acres of assignment lands were identified and will be demolished by month end. He said the operation is nearby completion of Government lands.
