Subject-wise marks to be available on Internet

The much awaited SSC results will be announced on May 4, 2006 (Thursday) at 11.30am. The Minister for Higher Education N.Rajyalakshmi held discussions with the Education Secretary Dr.P.Krishnaiah and other officials on Tuesday evening.
Instead of posting ranks, it has been decided to post the classes i.e., First Class marks between (above 60 per cent), Second Class (between 50-60 per cent) and Third class (between 35-50 percent). Subject wise marks will be posted on the Internet. She said that stringent action would be taken against any institution that claims of ranks of their credit. She said that 11.94 lakh candidates have appeared the examinations and out of which 8.91 lakh regular candidates and 3.03 lakh private candidates have appeared the examinations.
