Hyderabad, May 19, 2006

The Energy Minister Mohd. Ali Shabbir speaking to media said that the Government is ensuring uninterrupted power supply to domestic users from Monday onwards. However, a final decision would be taken after a meeting with the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

The power situation has improved during the last three days and there have been no unscheduled power cuts in rural areas. He asked the power distribution companies to come up with power demand position on district wise.
