Award given for overall safety and reducing accidents
Hyderabad, May 19, 2006
The Executive Director (HRD) of the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) A Nageswara Rao received the Safety Award from the Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Friday.
The award was instituted by St John's Ambulance Association and was presented to the Corporation for its contribution in improving overall road safety and in reducing road accidents in the State. The Corporation is also conducting refresher and induction training courses to its drivers which shown significant results.
