Threatens national wide ban
Hyderabad, May 18, 2006
The National wing of the National Congress of Indian Congress demanded the Central Government to ban the screening of the controversial film The Da Vinci code.
In a press release the National Congress of Indian Christians (NCIC) youth wing president CA Danial Admas said that the movie hurt the sentiments of the Jesus Christ in a bad light. He said that it would launch a nation wide agitation if the film's released is not stopped.
