Endowments official suspended
Hyderabad, May 18, 2006
It may be recalled that the Ranga Reddy district court gave direction to maintain status quo of Chilkur Balaji Temple trustees till May 26, the Endowments official administered oath to their nominees as founder trustees of the temple. However, the State Government said that the decision was invalid and suspended an Endowment official for messing up with the Court order.
It is strange that the Endowments department officials maintain that they have not received the Court order. The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy who was in Delhi was very angry over the Endowments department action.
