17 districts found for women and child trafficking
Hyderabad, May 16, 2006
The Police and Anti-trafficking officials have identified 17 districts in the State as the main sources for women and child trafficking. In a two day work shop, 'Need assessment on anti trafficking activities' at the Police Academy, top brass stressed the need to control the situation.
The Director General of Police (DGP), Swaranjit Sen said that instead of booking cases against sex workers, they should concentrate on breaking the network.
