The Chief Executive Officer of the Andhra Pradesh region of Reliance Infocomm R Ramachandran said that the telecom major has tremendous progress in the last couple of years. It plans to increase its infrastructure by seventy percent in the coming years. He said that it is right now having 18.5 lakh connections and 15 per cent in rural areas.
Mr. Balachandran said that the customers of Reliance can have access about the information regarding checking of e-mails, flight and railway PNR status, Bank balance etc., by sitting at home. He said that at present the minute call is only 49 paise while the call charges from Reliance to Reliance costs only 15 paise per minute. Reliance Executive N Srikanth was present at the meeting.
