Local television channel exposes nexus

The Deputy Jailor at the Cherlapally Central Prison, B.Srinivas Naik is alleged to have been involved in settling land disputes with the help of some high profile inmates of the prison.
A Regional News channel exposed the unholy nexus between he jail officials and inmates. Two staffers of a TV Channel approached him seeking his help to settled a land dispute. He assured them that the matter would be settled in their favor with the help of a phone call by Moddu Sreenu and demanded forty percent of the total value of the 17 acre land in Shamshabad. The additional IG (Prisons) P.Narasimha Reddy ordered a detailed enquiry and those found guilty will be severely dealt, he said to the media.
