Moonlight hiking programme organized

Police Commissioner flagged off the event

Visakhapatnam, May 14, 2006

The moonlight hiking programme was organized by the Youth Hostels Association of India (YHASI) on Saturday. Nearly 40 persons participated including ten women in the event. The annual event was flagged off by the Police Commissioner, VSK Kaumudi on Saturday at Tennati Park. The main aim of the event is to create awareness among the public about to protect Olive Ridely turtles.
