Congress party announced Rs.2 lakhs ex gratia

The TRS activists, that are coming to Hyderabad to join in Congress party in a bus that dashed the oncoming sand laden lorry on Saturday afternoon. There are 50 activists traveling in the bus.
Ten persons died on the spot and another two were on the way to hospital, while 16 persons sustained injuries. The activists are the followers of the rebel TRS MLA G.Mukunda Reddy.
The Congress party expressed shock and announced an ex gratia of Rs.2 lakhs each to the bereaved family and offered to meet the medical expenditure. The Director General of Police, Swaranjit Sen and Medak SP PV Sunil Kumar and other officials visited the spot.
