Arundalpet Sub Inspector of Police arrested

Guntur, May 13, 2006

The Arundalpet Sub Inspector of Police (Crime) Sheik Khasim Saida was arrested on Saturday morning while accepting a bribe of Rs.3,000 from an MCA student for closing a false case filed against him.

The DSP of ACB K.Mahipal Reddy said that the Deepti Coaching center has filed a theft case against the student. In another incident at Amaravathi, the Sub Inspector A.Koteswararao and a constable were trapped for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs.10,000 for compromising a case.
