Odeon blast case handed over to SIT

Hyderabad, May 10, 2006

The City Police Commissioner, AK Mohanty said on Wednesday that the blast case of Odeon theatre has been handed over to Special Investigating Team. He said that they suspect the involvement of Jaish-e-Mohammed activist Shahed in the blast. The police wrote to Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka Police for detailed information and the PFSL report is yet to come about the chemicals used in the grenade.
