Hyderabad, May 10, 2006

Higher Education Chief Secretary, Asutosh Mishra on Wednesday announced the results of Polytechnic Entrance Test (CEEP 2006). 76,535 candidates have appeared for the entrance test and out of which 67,049 (87.61%) are eligible for admission. He said that there is 38 percent increase in the number of candidates who have appeared for the entrance test than last year. He said rank cards will be dispatched to the candidates before May 11. Technical Education and Training Secretary, GV Ranganath said that the counseling will start from May 25 and lasts for 15 days. The first year classes would commence from June 15.
