Municipal employee in ACB trap

Nabbed when accepting bribe

Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) nabbed Kavali Municipal Employee John Prakash while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 2000 from one Mr Subramanayam.

Incidentally, Mr Subramanyam is a retired employee of the municipality. He demanded money from Subramanayam for clearing off his pension file, which is pending for the last 17 months. Upon the complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught him red-handed.
