Hyderabad, March 8, 2006

The Anti Corruption Bureau officials arrested G.Sambasiva Rao, Mandal Revenue Officer of Dwaraka Tirumala mandal in West Godavari after he allegedly took a bribe of Rs.4000 from a villager for settling a land dispute.

ACB officials, who searched the house of YC Subba Rayudu, Deputy Executive Engineer of Panchayat Raj in Adoni of Kurnool District have claimed to have found properties worth about Rs.40 lakhs. The authorities have also searched the houses of his father in law in Bellary of Karnataka and his relatives in Kurnool. He was arrested.
