Guntur, March 4, 2006World Tel Limited chairman Sam Pitroda has been chosen for the Dr.Nayudamma award for the year 2005. He was chosen for his outstanding contribution to India's telecom revolution, founder and managing trustee of Tenali based Dr.Y.Nayudamma Trust P.Vishnu Murty said on Saturday.
The prestigious Nayudamma Award was instituted in 1986 in memory of the late scientist and internationally acclaimed leather technologist, Dr.Y.Nayudamma who hailed from Tenali in Guntur District. The award would be presented o March 11 at a special function to be held in Tenali.
