10-year HDFC Bank project one of the biggest in Indian banking circles

Wipro InfoTech, a provider of IT solutions and services said on Friday that it has singed the largest IT outsourcing deal to provide IT outsourcing services to HDFC Bank. The contract is valued at approximately Rs.360 crores over a period of ten years. Anand Sankaran, Vice President, global IT outsourcing (Wipro InfoTech) said the scope of the deal includes provisioning of IT infrastructure on build-own-operate basis for existing and new branches of HDFC bank.
It will provide comprehensive infrastructure management services for data entire, net works and end user equipments. The engagement will be managed under Wipro's Program Governance framework, which incorporates ITIL process for Service Management.
