Hyderabad, March 31, 2006

The Income Tax officials, on a tip off from Air Intelligence Unit of the Income Tax Department in Delhi nabbed one Mr.Raghuveer Singh at the Rajiv Gandhi International airport and seized 16 gold biscuits each weighing 1kg from his possession.

The cost of the seized gold is estimated to be Rs.1.27 crores. The accused was flown from Delhi by Air Deccan flight on Thursday night. The Director General of Income Tax, Investigations, Hyderabad said that the case is under investigation.
