Four patients in critical condition shifted to Yashoda
Hyderabad, March 30, 2006
The fire accident that occurred in New Life Hospital in the wee hours of Thursday and the quick response from the police and fire personnel save 37 patients. Four patients whose condition was critical were in the intensive care unit were shifted to Yashoda hospitals.
Around 2.30am smoke began to emanate from the pathological laboratory of the hospital ground floor said, the Sultan Bazar ACP Ch.Ramchander said. Even before the hospital staff could find the source of the fire, smoke was filled the entire building. Senior police officers on duty supervised the rescue operations and the cause of the fire accident is the short circuit in the pathological wing.
