Bomb Squad rushes to check the flight

Just a couple of days before the Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy is scheduled to fly in the inaugural Air Deccan flight to Rajahmundry, the Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam flight of the same airline was held up at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for two hours following a bomb hoax. An anonymous person called up the main police control room at about 10.25am and said that a bomb had been planted in the one planes leaving the airport.
Relying on the call, the Begumpet police with the bomb squad rushed and stopped the flight which is about to take off and checked thoroughly and found no explosives. A source from the police department says that the call came from a public telephone booth in Hayathnagar.
