Hyderabad, March 27, 2006

East Zone Task Force Police arrested three persons and busted an international fake credit card racket. The Police seized fake cards of American Bank and Citibank and eight mobile phones from Mohammed Javeed of Mysore, Mohinuddin Khaled Shah of Shah Ali Banda in Hyderabad and another from Kerala. They purchased the duplicate cards suspected to have been prepared in London and used them in India.

The gang copied electronic data stored on the magnetic strip of the cads using a skimmer, which has special computer software and re-encoded the same on a fabricated card. The task force raided a lodge in Troop Bazaar and arrested two persons who allegedly issued fake travel documents to illegal immigrants planning to go to Gulf.
