Paper Mill to be setup at the cost of Rs. 1200 Crores
Hyderabad, March 27, 2006
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was singed between the Government and Whitefield Paper Mill Limited paving the way for establishment of Rs.1200 crores mega paper mill of two lakh metric tone per annum capacity on Monday. Representatives of the company signed the MoU in the presence of the Chief Minister, YS.Rajasekhara Reddy.
Chairman of the Company Srinivasa Rao said the entire pulp requirement would be met through imports to avoid any damage to the forest here as the plant was tied up with reputed international company Elof Hansson Group. The company has the potential to general 1000 jobs directly and 10,000 more indirectly.
