Revolver recovered from former convicts
Hyderabad, March 25, 2006The Chaderghat police recovered the pistol of Vijay Singh who lost his pistol recently. The recovery was made on Saturday on a tip-off that two ex-convicts Raju and Ayab, who were fighting for a short firearm, which they recently acquired. The duo was found in possession of the 9mm revolver. On interrogation, the duo confessed that they have stolen from the police officer's vehicle on Thursday that was parked in front of Saroornagar police station.
It may be recalled that the 9mm pistol of Gurajala Sub Divisional Police Officer Vijay Singh's service revolver was stolen three days ago at Saroornagar.
