Two women among those arrested

Kadapa Police arrested five persons including two women on Saturday for allegedly kidnapping 8-year old Sai Kumar, son of an astrologer of Lohinagar and demanding a ransom of Rs.3 lakhs.
The accused Shivaji who was a prominent figure in many robbery and dacoit cases took the help of his friends on March 20 to kidnap the boy when he went to school. The phone caller was traced to be that from Hutchison Essar South Ltd., at Hyderabad. The Police swifted into action and nabbed him. The boy was handed over to his family. Superintendent of Police Y Nagireddy gave a detailed note on the incident at a press conference.
