Qutbullahpur Town Planning officer caught
Hyderabad, March 24, 2006
The Anti Corruption Bureau officials on Friday arrested three employees of Qutbullahpur Municipality including the Town Planning Officer T.Ethiswar at the latter's office on charge of accepting Rs.10,000 bribe from one person.
The complainant approached the municipal officials requesting them to remove an illegal encroachment that was blocking the way to his spot. He was demanded Rs.10000 to each to the Town Planning Officer and Town Planning Supervisor. On Friday, he went to the municipal office and handed over the money through the office attender. All the three were arrested by the ACB and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Hyderabad according to a press release.
