Hyderabad, March 23, 2006

The Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K.Keshava Rao left for Delhi on Thursday to call on Ms.Sonia Gandhi in the wake of her resignation as MP and Chairperson of the National Advisory Board Council. Before boarding, the Chief Minister told to reporters that there was no example of a such a gesture in contemporary politics.

The entire nation stood in ovation to her. Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister K.Rosaiah said she had set a new precedent in politics. In a separate statement, TRS president K.Chandrasekhara Rao hailed her decision.
