Remand of Moddu Sreenu and others extended

Video conference facility inaugurated

The judicial custody of Moddu Sreenu in the Paritala Ravi murder case, which of Sreenu, Suri and others in T.Prabhakar murder case and that of Suri and others in the conspiracy to blast the house of Paritala Ravi in the year 2000 has been extended. Video conference facility was used for the first time on Thursday.

Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate A.Jayaraj extended the remand of Sreenu till March 29 while in the other two cases, it was extended till April 5. District Sessions Judge S.Chinnaiah inaugurated the video conference facility. He complimented the Jails Department for arranging in a short period and opined that the technology intervention would reduce security threat to the accused and also save time.
