Hyderabad, March 21, 2006

The State Government on Tuesday ordered a judicial probe into the allotment of vacant lands in Hyderabad to individuals and institutions during the tenure of TDP and Congress Governments. Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy ordered the probe upon the demands made by Telugu Desam, CPI, TRS and BJP. A sitting judge of the High Court would conduct an inquiry and the speaker would decide the terms of reference.
