Narasaraopet - Guntur, March 20, 2006

A young priest committed suicide in Narasaraopet town police station on Monday allegedly unable to bear the disrespect due to a police inquiry in a kidnap case. Second accused in the kidnap case, N.Ramesha Pavan, a priest in Anjaneyaswamy temple in Sataluru village of Nadendla mandal was called for interrogation on Sunday evening and sent back home.

On Monday he came to police station around 9 am. He removed the bulb from the tube light in the main hall of the police station broke it and inflate self-injury with sharp edge of broken tube. He was rushed to the hospital immediately where he declared dead.
