Hyderabad, March 20, 2006

The Government has entrusted to the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority with the responsibility of preparing a blue print for a modern bus terminus with multi level parking facility cum commercial hub to come up in a part of Old Gandhi Hospital land at Secunderabad. Nearly 10 acres of Gandhi Hospital land adjoining the Secunderabad Railway station has been earmarked to shift the Rathifile bus complex and to decongest the area in the vicinity of the railway station.

The proposed Rs.200 crore terminus-cum-commercial hub to come up in ten acres would have 25,600 sq.m for bus terminal and the rest for extensive greenery component so as not to make it look like concrete jungle.
