Division Bench of High Court gives its final judgement

Hyderabad, March 2, 2006

A Division Bench of High Court on Thursday gave a final judgment in the writ petition pertaining to Group I posts in the State and permitted the APPSC to go ahead with the process of filling the posts.

The Bench, comprising Justice J.Chalameshwar and Justice MEN Patrudu, dismissed the writ petition and declared that there was not enough material to show that the question papers of some of the subjects had been leaked. The Bench said that the decision of the Government to have 61 marks as the cut off point to decide the eligibility for mains examination was legal and valid.
