Hyderabad, March 17, 2006Six candidates filed nominations for as many vacancies to the Rajya Sabha from the State when the deadline ended on Friday afternoon. Those who filed nominations were SD Azeez Pasha (CPI), K.Keshava Rao, G.Sanjeeva Reddy, Rashid Alvi and Dasari Narayana Rao (all Congress) and MV Mysoora Reddy(TDP). All of them are expected to be declared as elected when the withdrawals close at 3pm on Monday after scrutiny of the nominations on Saturday.
