Demands lifting of layoff

The police used mild force to control FACOR employees on the last day of their 84-hour dharna at the Collectorate on Thursday. They had a tough time when the employees tried to push their way into the Collectorate. However, the situation eased after they were promised that talks between the ad ho committee members of employees and th management would be arranged of March 18. The employees were demanding lifting of lay off announced on October 1, 2005.
