After Cyber Towers, Hyderabad gears for Trade Tower
Hyderabad, March 15, 2006A 60 storied trade tower will come up in the State Capital, which will house corporates, star hotels and entertainment theatres. The Government has earmarked a 97 are site to the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) for the proposed trade tower. Probably it is the tallest structure in the Country. It is proposed to be constructed at Manchirevula near Narsingi, in the Business District. A three member orporation team to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to study the famed 'Petronas Towers' there, the modalities of the project were being worked out.
The Government is keen that the structure to be completed in a couple of years by the time the Hyderabad International Airport at Shamshabad and the elevated expressway corridor would be ready. The APIIC officials are also planning to visit Dubai to study similar towers being developed by the Emmar Group.
