NSTC selection on Saturday

Selections to begin from March 18, 2006

Sports Authority of India is conducting a statewide selection for the National Sports Talent Contest (NSTC) scheme at VP Siddhartha Public School on March 18 in athletics, badminton, basketball, gymnastics, Kho-kho and kabaddi said the school principal on Wednesday. The trainees if selected will get expert training by the qualified coaches throughout the year, they will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 300.

Sports kit, and exposure funds for participating in competitions. Those interested sports persons are advised to reach the school premises with sports kit and report the respective SAI coaches by 8am on March 18 along with originals of date of birth, study and achievement certificates along with two passport size photographs.
