Professor and Social Workers get awards

The Malladi Subbamma Trust has decided to honour dedicated women engaged in social work by presenting 'Mahila Abhyudaya Award' comprising Rs.1 lakh in cash. The first award will be given to Shanta Sinha, Professor, Political Science University of Hyderabad for her work in liberating three lakh child laborers and bringing them to school.

Malladi Subbamma, social worker and managing trustee announced on Monday that the award would be presented on March 26 at the Journalists' Union Office.
