Cardiologists and Cardiothoraic surgeons get together
Hyderabad, March 12, 2006
A gathering of cardiologists and cardiothoraic surgeons from several institutions in the city on Sunday for a national symposium formed the Heart Failure Society of India (HFSI).
At a press conference, Dr.AGK Gokhale, chief cardiothoracic, vascular and transplant surgeon, Global Hospital, which hosted the symposium, said HFSI aims at bringing onto a common platform a variety of cardiology professionals and spreading public awareness on how easy it was to prevent cardiac problems.
